Day 2Phnom Penh/Siem ReapThere's time to trawl the Russian Market for interesting artefacts, clothes and jewellery, before catching the bus to Siem Reap.
Day 3Angkor Complex - Rolous Group/Angkor WatGet a first taste of ancient Khmer architecture amongst the Rolous group of temples. Later, wander the monument that marked the pinnacle of the Khmer Empire - the amazing Angkor Wat.
Day 4Angkor Complex - Angkor Thom/Ta ProhmReceive a royal welcome entering Angkor Thom through its striking causeway, and lock eyes with the enormous smiling stone faces that adorn the Bayon. In the afternoon, lose yourself amongst the shadows of Ta Prohm, a temple left to crumble beneath the weight of silk cotton and strangler fig trees.
Day 5Banteay SreiTiny sandstone Banteay Srei stands out for its exquisite bas-reliefs. Duck beneath tiny doorways to admire carvings of dancing girls and fearsome gods, before stopping at Preah Khan, Neak Pean and Ta Som.
Day 6Siem ReapSqueeze in some last-minute shopping at the local market before saying goodbye.
