MONOGRAMS 2009: CHARLESTON & SAVANNAH (VVA)
7 days from Charleston to Savannah

Discover true "Southern hospitality" in Charleston and Savannah. Start in historic Charleston. Take time to meander through this beautiful city at your own pace and discover what it has to offer. Perhaps tour historic Charles Towne Landing, visit the Charleston Museum, or explore Magnolia Plantation. Civil War buffs can take a boat ride to Fort Sumter National Monument or take a Civil War walking tour. Then, drive north to the charming port city of Savannah. Take a carriage tour down cobblestone streets and through the gracious brick squares of one of the South's most beautifully preserved 18th-century cities, celebrated in the book and film Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Browse through the shops and dine in the restored cotton warehouses along the waterfront.
